Built-to-Order Products

 

Certain Luna Reef products, including ARC line sumps, are built to order. Built-to-order products are made specifically after an order is placed and may not be cancelled, returned, or refunded except in cases of verified shipping damage, manufacturing defect, or as otherwise required by law.

By purchasing a built-to-order product, you acknowledge and agree that production may begin after your order is placed and that cancellation is not permitted.

 

Pricing and Payment

 

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change product pricing at any time without notice. Pricing errors, typographical errors, or incorrect product information may be corrected at our discretion. We are not obligated to honor incorrect pricing caused by error, technical issue, or website malfunction.

Payment must be completed before an order is processed or shipped. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Luna Reef does not store full credit card numbers or complete payment credentials on our own systems.

 

Shipping

 

Shipping times, transit times, and delivery estimates are provided as estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, weather, supply availability, production schedules, holidays, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Luna Reef is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers after an order has been transferred to the carrier.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Luna Reef is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdelivered packages due to incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer.

 

Freight and Large Item Deliveries

 

Some products may ship by freight carrier due to size, weight, or packaging requirements. Freight deliveries may require customer availability, appointment scheduling, liftgate service, or delivery inspection.

Customers are responsible for inspecting freight shipments upon delivery. If there is visible damage to the packaging, crate, pallet, or product, the customer should document the damage immediately with photos and notify Luna Reef as soon as possible.

Failure to properly inspect and document freight damage may affect our ability to file a claim or provide a replacement.

 

Shipping Damage

 

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, you must contact Luna Reef within 24 hours of delivery. Shipping damage reported after this 24-hour window may not be eligible for replacement.

To properly review a shipping damage claim, clear photos are required. Photos must include the damaged product, exterior packaging, interior packaging, protective materials, and any visible damage to the shipping box, crate, or packaging materials.

Without adequate photos of both the product and packaging, Luna Reef may be unable to replace the item or complete a shipping damage claim.

 

Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

 

Returns, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service.

Please review our Return Policy before placing an order. By purchasing from Luna Reef, you agree to the terms outlined in that policy.

 

Product Use and Installation

 

Luna Reef products are designed for aquarium and reef system use. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are properly installed, supported, plumbed, maintained, and used according to their intended purpose.

Improper installation, misuse, modification, neglect, inadequate support, improper plumbing, or use outside the intended application may result in damage, leaks, failure, or reduced performance.

Luna Reef is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, improper use, customer modification, lack of maintenance, or use with incompatible equipment or materials.

Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is appropriate for their aquarium system, available space, plumbing layout, and equipment before purchasing.

 

Acrylic Products

 

Acrylic products require proper care and maintenance. Customers should use acrylic-safe cleaning methods and avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or tools that may scratch or damage the surface.

Minor cosmetic marks, machining marks, or small variations that do not affect product performance may occur during normal fabrication, packaging, or handling and are not considered defects.

 

Warranty and Manufacturing Defects

 

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us with your order information and clear photos or videos of the issue.

Luna Reef will review the information provided and determine the appropriate resolution at our discretion. This may include repair, replacement, replacement parts, store credit, or another reasonable solution depending on the nature of the issue.

Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, improper maintenance, modification, accidental damage, shipping carrier damage, or normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect.
